Build the Consulting Firm You Once Wished Existed

NSP & Company is building a select network of senior practitioners and transformation professionals who believe that exceptional consulting requires more than sound advice.

It requires the ability to create clarity from ambiguity, align leaders around difficult decisions, translate strategy into an executable path, and remain engaged until the work gains traction and produces measurable results.

We work with federal agencies, public-sector institutions, and complex enterprises navigating modernization, organizational transformation, operating-model change, workforce transition, AI integration, leadership alignment, and large-scale adoption.

Our teams are intentionally senior, highly collaborative, and built around the needs of each engagement. We value strategic depth, excellent judgment, intellectual curiosity, strong writing, executive presence, humility, and the willingness to roll up one's sleeves.

The Leaders We Are Looking For

NSP is particularly interested in enterprise transformation leaders who can move across:

Strategy and transformation execution

Governance and decision effectiveness

Stakeholder and leadership alignment

Operating-model and organizational design

Workforce transition and adoption

Program and portfolio leadership

Strategic communications and engagement

Training and workforce enablement

Technology modernization and AI adoption

Measurement, readiness, and transformation risk

The strongest NSP leaders are equally comfortable advising an executive, architecting the solution, leading the engagement, managing a multidisciplinary team, reviewing the work product, and stepping directly into delivery when needed.

How We Work

NSP brings together senior practitioners around meaningful client problems. Initial opportunities may begin through project-based independent-contractor relationships and may evolve into recurring, expanded, or firm-leadership roles as the business and individual relationship develop.

When serving an NSP client, our practitioners operate as one NSP team. They represent the NSP brand, protect the client relationship, uphold our standards, and contribute to the collective success of the firm.

Because project timing depends on client awards and requirements, joining the NSP Senior Practitioner Network does not guarantee immediate deployment. It creates the opportunity to be considered for pursuits and engagements aligned with experience, availability, and qualifications.

Engagement Eligibility

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. NSP does not currently provide employment-visa sponsorship for project-based independent-contractor opportunities.

Certain federal engagements may also require U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, suitability or Public Trust eligibility, an active or obtainable security clearance, specific location or travel availability, or other client-defined qualifications. These requirements will be identified for each applicable opportunity.

Begin the Conversation

We review each submission individually.

We invite experienced professionals who see themselves in this model to submit a brief professional profile and résumé. Our process is selective and relationship-oriented. We review each submission against anticipated client needs, NSP's delivery standards, and the individual's potential to contribute to the firm over time.
